What the manual does not say

5 jobs with nothing stated
  • Boiler water change
  • Group gasket replacement
  • Shower screen clean
  • Shower screen replacement
  • Water tank clean
Notes from the research
  • The water backflush frequency comes from the Breville US manual; the Sage booklet gives the same procedure with no frequency.
  • Sage (UK) and Breville (US) manuals differ for the same machine: descale on visible scale vs on an LCD alert; filter 3 months/40 L (with a contradictory 2-month date dial) vs a hardness-driven NEW FILTER alert. This record prefers the Sage values.
  • No descale day interval or hardness table; the Hrd1–Hrd5 setting's effect is not published.
  • Group seal, shower screen replacement, water tank cleaning, routine boiler water change and a service interval are not stated.
  • The water filter cartridge is not named.
