Steps
- After each coffee session, before switching off, fit the cleaning disc in the basket and lock the portafilter in. Only when: after each coffee making session, before turning the machine off
From the manual: “Insert the cleaning disc into the filter basket then insert the portafilter into the group head.”
- Press 2 CUP, let pressure build for 20 seconds, then press again to stop and release it. Repeat 5
From the manual: “Press the 2 CUP button and allow pressure to build for 20secs, then press to stop & release pressure.”
- Do this 5 times in all to purge fine grounds and coffee oils from the brew paths.
