Step-by-step guides

What the manual does not say

3 jobs with nothing stated
  • Backflush (water)
  • Shower screen clean
  • Water filter / softener replacement
Notes from the research
  • Profitec no longer serves a Pro 500 manual (profitec-espresso.com/media/pages/produkte/pro500/.../ba-pro500.pdf returns the error page); every manual-derived value is community-hosted (Whole Latte Love copy of Profitec's manual).
  • Detergent backflush: Profitec FAQ 'every 150 cups' (preferred) vs the Pro 500 manual 'every week'.
  • No water-only backflush regime; no water-filter cartridge or interval.
  • Gasket and shower-screen replacement have only symptom triggers.
