Steps

  1. Fill the tank with water and descaler, dosed as the descaler pack says.

  2. Switch the machine on.

  3. Take off the portafilter and put a container under the frothing nozzle.

  12. Put an empty container under the frothing nozzle and check the knob is still on steam.

  13. Press the steam button again to start the rinse; close the knob now and then to rinse the coffee outlet too.
