Steps
- After each coffee session, before switching off, empty the drip tray. Only when: after each coffee making session, before turning the machine off

- Fit the cleaning disc in the filter basket and lock the portafilter into the group.
From the manual: “Insert the cleaning disc into the filter basket then insert the portafilter into the group head.”
- Touch 'Brew', let pressure build for 20 seconds, then touch again to stop and release it. Repeat 5
From the manual: “Touch the 'Brew' button and allow pressure to build for 20 seconds, then touch to stop & release pressure.”
- Do this 5 times in all to purge fine grounds and coffee oils from the brew paths.
From the manual: “Repeat this 5 times to purge any fine coffee grounds and residual coffee oils from the brew water paths.”
