Fit a new ClaroSwiss filter: Sage ClaroSwiss water filter (SES008 / BES008)

Sage ClaroSwiss water filter (SES008 / BES008; fits all Sage espresso machines (check the batch code on older ones))

Warnings

Steps

1. Take the new filter out of its plastic bag.

   From the manual: “Remove the water filter and water filter holder from the plastic bag.”

2. Leave the filter in cold water for 5 minutes.

   From the manual: “Soak the filter in cold water for 5 minutes.”

3. Rinse the holder under the cold tap.

   From the manual: “Wash the filter holder with cold water.”

4. Turn the date dial on the holder to the month the next change is due.

   From the manual: “Set the reminder for next month of replacement.”

5. Clip the filter in between the two halves of the holder.

   From the manual: “Insert the filter into the two parts of the filter holder.”

6. Seat the holder base on the adapter in the tank and press down until it locks.

   From the manual: “align the base of the filter holder with the adapter inside the water tank. Push down to lock into place.”

7. Fill the tank with cold tap water and slide it back into the rear of the machine.

   From the manual: “Fill the water tank with cold tap water before sliding back into position at the back of the machine”

8. Plan the next change for 90 days on, or sooner once about 40 litres have gone through (the figure for hard water).

   From the manual: “Replace filter after 90 days or after 40L”
