Steps
- Slide out the drip tray, empty it and take its parts apart.
From the manual: “Remove the drip tray from the machine and separate the parts.”
- If you like, unclip the EMPTY ME! indicator by pulling it upwards off its side latches.
From the manual: “The EMPTY ME! indicator can also be removed from the drip tray by pulling upwards to release the side latches.”
- Wash every part by hand in warm soapy water with a soft cloth.

- Rinse and dry the parts fully, reassemble, and slide the tray back in.
