Steps

  1. Put the cleaning disc into the filter basket in the portafilter.

  2. Lay one cleaning tablet on top of the disc.

  3. Lock the portafilter into the group head.

  4. Empty the drip tray and slide it back in.

  5. Fill the water tank to MAX and seat it back on the machine.

  6. Press MENU to open the main menu.

  7. Turn the GRIND AMOUNT dial to FLUSH and press it to select; 1 CUP lights.

  8. Press 1 CUP to start; the LCD counts down the time left.

  9. When it beeps and returns to READY, check the disc; if any tablet is left, run the cycle again.

  10. Tip out and rinse the portafilter, the cleaning disc and the drip tray.
