Steps

1. Unwrap the new filter and soak it in a cup of water for 5 minutes.

   From the manual: “Remove the filter from the plastic bag, and soak in a cup of water for 5 minutes.”

2. Hold it under cold running water for 5 seconds.

   From the manual: “Rinse the filter under cold running water for 5 seconds.”

3. Fit the filter into the filter holder.

   From the manual: “Insert the filter into the filter holder.”

4. Turn the holder's date dial to 3 months ahead.

   From the manual: “Set the date dial 3 months ahead.”

5. Push the holder down onto its mount in the tank until it locks.

   From the manual: “To install, push down the filter to lock into place.”

6. Refit the water tank and lock it.

   From the manual: “Insert & lock water tank”
