Replace the group head seal: Sage Barista Express Impress
Before you start
- Tools
- Allen key (supplied), skewer or similar, long-nose pliers (optional)
- Supplies
- replacement silicone group seal (from Sage Service Centre (size not stated))

Steps
- Switch off with POWER and pull the plug from the socket.

- Lift out the water tank and drip tray, carefully in case they are full.

- Pick any coffee out of the centre of the shower-screen screw with a skewer.

- Put the short end of the Allen key in the screw and turn anticlockwise to loosen it.

- Take out and keep the screw and shower screen, noting which face pointed down.

- Wash the shower screen in warm soapy water and dry it fully.

- Pull the old silicone seal out by hand or with long-nose pliers.

- Push in the new seal flat side first, so its ribbed face points towards you.

- Refit the shower screen and then the screw.

- Start the screw 2-3 turns clockwise by hand, then tighten with the Allen key until flush with the screen.

- Put the drip tray and water tank back.
