Steps
- Fit the 1 CUP basket in the portafilter, lay the supplied cleaning disc in it, then add one cleaning tablet.
From the manual: “Insert the 1 CUP filter basket into the portafilter, followed by the supplied cleaning disc, followed by one cleaning tablet.”
- Lock the portafilter in and set a large container under its spouts.

- Fill the water tank with cold water and empty the drip tray.
From the manual: “Ensure the water tank is filled with cold water and the drip tray is empty.”
- Switch the machine off with the POWER button.

- Hold 1 CUP, 2 CUP and POWER together for 3 seconds.

- Let the cycle run for about 5 minutes while water pulses into the portafilter and back into the group.

- Take out the portafilter and check the tablet has fully dissolved; if not, repeat from step 4.

- Remove the cleaning disc, lock the portafilter back in over a container, and press 2 CUP to rinse the group.

- Wipe any splashes off the machine with a soft dry cloth.
