Steps
- Unpack the new cartridge and prepare it as its maker specifies.
From the manual: “Unpack and prepare the filter cartridge according to the manufacturer’s specifications.”
- Lift the cup tray off the top of the machine.
From the manual: “Remove the cup tray from the top of the machine.”
- Push the cartridge into the filter adapter in the tank until it latches.
From the manual: “Insert the filter cartridge into the water filter adapter (1, Fig. 7) in the water tank so that it latches in place.”
- Put the cup tray back.

- If the Filter Reminder menu is hidden, show it: main menu, "Advanced User Settings", ON. Only when: the first time you use the filter reminder

- In "Filter Reminder", set the cartridge's capacity in 5-litre steps, up to 200 L, per the filter maker.
