Steps
- Unplug the grinder before you start.

- Unscrew the outer lock ring by hand, counter-clockwise as seen from above.

- Carefully lift the upper burr carrier straight up to expose the burrs.

- Loosen and remove the grounds with a brush or a vacuum such as a shop vac.

- Refit the upper carrier and lock ring, tightening the ring only lightly.
