Steps

  1. Switch the grinder off and remove the power cord.

  2. Lift off the magnetic outer ring.

  3. Loosen the two side hex screws by 1-2 turns without taking them out.

  4. Press the collar down and twist it counter-clockwise to release it.

  5. Lift out the upper burr carrier to reach the burr chamber.

  6. Clean the chamber with a brush, a vacuum, or both.

  7. Give the bean hopper a quick wipe with a slightly moist cloth.

  8. Refit the upper assembly and bring both hex screws to finger-tight, pressing down on the funnel if it helps.

    From the manual: “Begin by tightening both screws on both sides with hex wrench until they are finger-tight.”

  9. Then tighten one screw at a time, a little more force each time, until it no longer turns.

    From the manual: “On one of the screws, gradually apply a little more force at a time with the hex wrench.”

  10. Do the same with the other screw.

    From the manual: “Repeat the same process for the other screw on the other side.”
