Steps
- Switch the grinder off and unplug it.
From the manual: “Unplug the power supply before working on the grinder such as for cleaning and maintenance.”
- Take off the lid.
From the manual: “2. Remove the lid.”
- Turn the funnel in the coarser direction until it disengages.
From the manual: “Adjust the funnel towards the coarser direction until the funnel disengages.”
- Lift off the funnel to reach the upper burr carrier.
From the manual: “Remove the funnel and you will get access to the upper burr carrier.”
- Gently lift the upper burr carrier out by hand, keeping track of its bearing and the springs.
From the manual: “Remove the upper burr carrier with hand gently.”
- Brush or vacuum out the burr chamber.
From the manual: “clean the grinder with a brush or vacuum.”
- Refit the upper burr carrier straight down at 90 degrees; do not force it if it catches.
From the manual: “make sure that the burr is going in perpendicularly (90 degree).”
- Screw the funnel back on, find zero by turning clockwise until the burrs lock, then back off to your setting.
From the manual: “find the zero of the grinder first by rotating the hopper towards the finer direction (by clockwise) until the burrs are locked.”
