Descale the boiler with citric acid: Odyssey Espresso Argos
Before you start

- citric acid powder (1 part powder to 10 parts water)
Steps
- Dissolve citric acid in water at 1 part powder to 10 parts water.
From the manual: “Mix 1 part citric acid powder with 10 parts water.”
- Pour the solution into the boiler.

- Screw the boiler cap on and heat the machine to temperature.

- Leave the hot solution in the boiler for 15-20 minutes.

- Pull the solution through the grouphead several times until the boiler is empty.

- Rinse the boiler with clean water, emptying it by turning the machine upside down over a sink with care.

- Refill with fresh water, heat it, and run it through the grouphead as a final flush.
