Steps
- Remove all beans from the bean hopper.

- With the hopper locked on, set grind size 25, put the portafilter in the grinding cradle and hold START GRIND about 10 seconds, until the noise changes.

- Sweep any residue off the burr with the included brush and purge again if needed. Optional

- Switch off and unplug, then lift the hopper handle and turn the hopper anticlockwise to remove it.

- Turn the upper burr anticlockwise until its orange arrow meets the ALIGN arrow, then lift it out.
From the manual: “Remove upper burr by rotating counterclockwise, aligning the orange arrow on the burr grinder with the orange arrow labeled ALIGN on the machine.”
- Brush the removed burr clean.

- Brush the burr left in the machine, using only the cleaning brush.
