Steps
- Lift the milk reservoir release button and slide the reservoir off the unit.

- Take the lid off the reservoir.

- Pour out any milk, then wash reservoir and lid in warm soapy water, rinse and dry well (the reservoir alone may go on the dishwasher top rack).

- Fill the reservoir with water, no higher than MAX, and slide it back on holding it by the lid.

- Put a large empty cup under the froth dispensing tube.

- Turn the Froth Control Knob anticlockwise to clean and press Clean; steam starts through the tube.

- Let it run until no milk comes out, or until it stops by itself.

- Pour out the water left in the reservoir and refit it until it locks.
