Run the automatic backflush with detergent: Lelit Victoria

Before you start

Tools
blind filter (supplied), portafilter, group brush (Lelit PLA9101, not included), damp cloth
Supplies
LELIT detergent sachet (3.5 g per backflush; code PLA9201 (not included))

Steps

  1. Put the supplied blind filter in the portafilter.

    From the manual: “Insert the blind filter (d) provided into the filterholder (e).”

  2. Add 3.5 g of detergent to the blind filter.

    From the manual: “Pour 3.5 g of detergent inside the blind filter (d).”

  3. Lock the portafilter firmly into the group, handle lined up with the padlock mark.

    From the manual: “Insert the filterholder (e) firmly into the coffee distribution group (6)”

  4. Hold the coffee switch down and, within 2 seconds, press the hot water switch.

    From the manual: “Keep the switch (3) pressed and press the hot water switch (5) within 2 seconds.”

  5. Wait while the display shows a flashing drop and both switches blink; the cycle is over when the display returns to normal.

    From the manual: “The LCC display (12) will show a flashing drop and the two switches will keep flashing until the procedure is finished.”

  6. Take the portafilter off, press the coffee switch to run water and rinse it in the flow, then press again to stop.

    From the manual: “rinse the filterholder using the hot water that comes out of the coffee group”

  7. Brush the group, its gasket and the rim the portafilter locks into.

    From the manual: “to clean the coffee group (6), the group gasket and the fixing rims of the group”

  8. Wipe away the remaining coffee grounds with a damp cloth.

    From the manual: “Use a damp cloth to eliminate the coffee powder rests.”

  9. Lock the portafilter back in and run the same automatic cycle again without detergent to rinse.

  10. Remove the portafilter and take the blind filter out.

    From the manual: “Remove the filterholder and the blind filter from it.”
