Backflush the group with detergent: Lelit Bianca and Lelit Bianca V3
Before you start
- Tools
- blind filter (supplied), portafilter
- Supplies
- espresso machine detergent powder (1 single-dose bag per backflush; the first bags come in the equipment box, then Lelit PLA9201)

Steps
- Fit the blind filter in the portafilter and empty one sachet of detergent powder into it.
From the manual: “Insert the blind filter (D) into the filterholder and pour 1 bag of detergent powder (I) into the filter.”
- Lock the portafilter into the group and raise the group lever, holding it open for 10 seconds.
From the manual: “Insert the filterholder in the group head (8) and lift the lever (13) for 10 seconds”
- Push the lever all the way down to stop, then pause for 10 seconds.
From the manual: “Stop the function by lowering the lever (13) completely and wait for 10 seconds.”
- Run that 10-seconds-open, 10-seconds-closed cycle 10 times in all. Repeat 10

- Take the portafilter off and rinse it under hot water run from the group.
From the manual: “rinse it with hot water from the brewing group”
- Lock it back in and do 5 more 10-second cycles with no detergent to rinse the group. Repeat 5
From the manual: “repeat the previous operation 5 times for 10 seconds each time, without detergent powder.”
- Remove the portafilter and lift the blind filter out.
From the manual: “Remove the filterholder and take out the blind filter (D).”
- Empty the drip tray, then rinse the tray, the portafilter and the blind filter well under the tap.
From the manual: “Empty the drip tray (16) and rinse the filterholder, the filter and the drip tray with plenty of tap water.”
