Backflush the group with plain water: Lelit Anna PID
Before you start

Steps
- Switch the machine on and let it reach brewing temperature.
From the manual: “make sure it is switched on and heated up to operational temperature”
- Put the double basket in the portafilter and lay the rubber backflush disc in it.
From the manual: “Ensure the double coffee filter basket is loaded into the filter holder and insert the backflush disc.”
- Lock the portafilter into the group.
From the manual: “Attach the filter holder to the machine.”
- Switch the pump on and let pressure build to maximum; the pump sounds strained, as when brewing.
From the manual: “Turn on the pump and wait for the pressure to rise.”
- Hold it 2 seconds, then switch the pump off; the pressure vents as a jet of water into the drip tray.
From the manual: “Wait for 2 seconds, then turn off the pump”
- Do this 3 to 5 times. Repeat 3 to 5 times
From the manual: “Repeat three to five times.”
- Take the backflush disc out and carry on using the machine as usual.
From the manual: “Remove the backflush disc and use the machine as normal.”
