Clean the group head with the blind filter: La Pavoni Botticelli, La Pavoni Botticelli Evolution and La Pavoni Botticelli Specialty

Before you start

Tools
blind filter (supplied), group brush (supplied)
Supplies
coffee machine cleaning powder (one spoonful per clean)

Steps

  1. Take the filter holder out of the group and brush the group gasket with the supplied brush.

    From the manual: “Remove the filter holder from the group head and clean the group's gasket using the brush (16) provided.”

  2. Fit the supplied blind filter into the filter holder.

    From the manual: “Place the blind filter (27) provided in the filter holder (24-25-26)”

  3. Tip in one spoonful of espresso-machine cleaning powder and lock the filter holder into the group.

    From the manual: “Add a spoonful of coffee machine cleaning powder and insert the filter holder into the group head.”

  4. Start delivery with the group lever.

    From the manual: “Use the lever (15) to start dispensing”

  5. Stop delivery after roughly 15-20 seconds.

    From the manual: “stop dispensing after approximately 15-20 seconds.”

  6. Keep starting and stopping delivery to lift coffee and scale deposits, until the water comes out clean. Repeat until the water runs clean

    From the manual: “Start and stop delivery several times until clean water is dispensed”

  7. Take the filter holder out and run the group several times to rinse residue from the shower screens and group.

    From the manual: “Remove the filter holder (24-25-26) and start dispensing several times in order to rinse the group head”
