Clean the brewing unit with detergent: Isomac Millennium and Isomac Tea
Before you start
- Tools
- supplied blind seal (insert for the filter)
- Supplies
- coffee-machine detergent powder (one spoonful)
Steps
- Take the filter holder out of the brewing unit.
From the manual: “Remove the filter-holder from the brewing unit.”
- Put the supplied blind seal in the filter and add one spoonful of coffee-machine detergent powder.

- Lock the filter holder back into the brewing unit.

- Start delivery with the group lever and stop it after about 4-5 seconds.
From the manual: “interrupt the delivery after approximately 4-5 seconds”
- Keep starting and stopping like this for about a minute to lift out coffee and scale deposits. Repeat for about one minute

- Take the seal out and run the group several times to rinse the unit.
From the manual: “Remove the seal and start the delivery system several times to rinse the unit.”
- Brew a few coffees to clear any off taste from the group and spouts.
From the manual: “Deliver a few serving of coffees so as to eliminate any unpleasant taste”
