Backflush with detergent: Gaggia Classic Evo and Gaggia Classic Pro

Steps

  1. Fit the blind basket in the portafilter.

  2. Add a little Gaggia cleaning powder or a tablet.

  3. Lock the portafilter into the group.

  4. Run the brew switch for about 10 seconds, then stop.

  5. Do the 10-second run 5 to 6 times in all. Repeat 5-6

  6. Take out the portafilter and rinse it well.

  7. Run several more cycles with plain water to flush out the cleaner.
