Steps

1. Heat the machine up until the boiler gauge shows working pressure, 1.0-1.2 bar.

   From the manual: “Heat up the machine until the operating pressure has been reached (1.0-1.2 bar).”

2. Fit the blind filter in the portafilter and add no cleaner.

   From the manual: “It´s better if you clean the brew group from time to time without cleaner.”

3. Lock the portafilter into the group.

   From the manual: “Clamp the portafilter into the brew group.”

4. Lift the brew lever; the blind filter fills with water.

   From the manual: “Operate the group lever. The blind filter will fill with water.”

5. Hold the lever in its middle position, about 45°.

   From the manual: “moving the group lever into the middle position, approx. 45°.”

6. After 20-60 seconds, lower the lever fully so the water drains through the group.

   From the manual: “Move the lever into the lower position after approx. 20-60 sek.”

7. Repeat until only clear water comes out. Repeat up to 10 times, until the discharge runs clear

   From the manual: “until only clear water is discharged by the infusion cylinder”

8. Put the 1- or 2-cup filter back in the portafilter.

   From the manual: “Place the filter for 1 or 2 cups into the portafilter.”
