Steps
- Check the portafilter is off the machine and put a container of at least 1 litre under the hot water wand and the coffee outlet.

- Mix the De'Longhi descaler with water and pour it into the tank up to the MAX mark.

- Hold the steam button for 10 seconds, until all three buttons light up one after another.

- Refit the water softener filter if you use one, then run a second rinse the same way (empty container, refill tank, start rinse).

- Descaling is finished when the tank has run empty and the orange light goes out.
