Steps
- Check the portafilter is off and put a container of at least 1 litre under the hot water dispenser and the coffee outlet.

- Dilute the De'Longhi descaler with water in the tank, filling it to the MAX mark.

- Take out the tank, empty and rinse it, fill it with fresh water and refit it.

- With the steam dial still at hot water, press the steam button to start the rinse; close the dial now and then to rinse the coffee spouts too.

- Refit the water softener filter if you use one, then run a second rinse the same way (empty container, refill tank, start rinse).
