Steps

  1. When the replace-filter message shows, press 'Yes' to go straight into the guided change and continue from step 4. Optional

  2. Otherwise open the settings menu, page to 'Water filter' and press 'Read more'.

  3. Press 'Yes' to start the guided procedure.

  4. Take out the water tank and the spent filter, then press 'Ok'.

  5. Wash the empty tank with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid, then rinse it well.

  6. Press 'Yes' to fit a new filter.

  7. Fill the tank to the MAX line with fresh drinking water.

  8. Unwrap the new filter and turn its date dial to two months ahead; press 'Next'.

  9. Run tap water into the centre hole until it has flowed out of the side openings for over a minute; press 'Next'.

  10. Submerge the filter in the tank for about 10 seconds, tilting and gently squeezing it so the air bubbles escape.

  11. Push the filter fully into its housing in the tank; press 'Next'.

  12. Put the lid on the tank.

  13. Slide the tank back into the machine and press 'Next'.

  14. Place an empty container of at least 0.5 l under the hot water spout and press 'Ok' to activate the filter.

  15. Let the machine run hot water until it stops by itself.

  16. Take the tank out and refill it with fresh drinking water.
