Run grinder cleaning tablets: Baratza Forte AP
Before you start

- grinder cleaning tablets (amount per the tablet maker's instructions); coffee beans for purging (about 30 g, discarded)

Steps
- Empty the hopper, then press start to run out any coffee left in the grinder.
From the manual: “Remove all beans from the hopper and use the start button (11) to run the grinder to expel any remaining coffee.”
- Set the grinder to its coarsest setting.
From the manual: “Adjust the grind setting to the coarsest setting”
- Pour the tablet maker's recommended amount of tablets into the empty hopper.
From the manual: “place the recommended amount of the chosen cleaning tablets into the empty bean hopper.”
- Press the manual button to switch to manual mode.
From the manual: “Press the manual button (14) to place the grinder in manual mode.”
- Put the grounds bin in place, press start and grind every tablet into the bin.
From the manual: “Insert the grounds bin, then press the start button. Grind all the tablets into the bin.”
- Grind about 30 g of coffee (or the tablet maker's amount) to clear tablet residue.

- Throw away the ground tablets and coffee.
From the manual: “Discard the ground tablets/coffee.”
